What to expect at First Baptist Midland
Coming to visit a new church can create uncertainty. We do all we can to make the experience a pleasant one. Whether you're coming alone, or with family or friends, we want you to feel comfortable, welcome, and have a great experience.
When you come to First Baptist, you'll find. . . .
A fun, friendly, and safe environment for your children.
Upon arrival, visit the Guest Welcome Center to plug-in to Sunday Morning activities. If you're only attending worship, we welcome your baby or preschooler. Children kindergarten and older attend worship with their parents. To speed up the registration process, click here to complete your registration form online to print and bring with you. For your convenience, pagers are available for parents of preschoolers. Please ask one of our First Touch members at the Guest Welcome Center if you would like to check one out for your visit to our campus.
A Bible Life Group just for you!
We believe everyone should be in a small group. Inquire at the Guest Welcome Center and try one out! Your child or teenager will have activities of their own during this time. Bible Life Groups are selected by age, life stage, and the time that corresponds with the worship service you like to attend. For more information on Adult Bible Life Groups, click here.
An atmosphere where you'll be comfortable dressed casually.
Our worship services vary in style, but in each one, a casual atmosphere is the standard.
Engaging worship.
No matter which service you attend, we believe in involving everyone in the worship experience. Our worship teams work hard to make sure we create an atmosphere that focuses on God and allows you to connect with Him.
Worship Options.
From the three services in the main Worship Center to one in the Fellowship Hall, you'll find an experience and a time slot that fits you.
Our 8:30 am service is our Traditional service, which utilizes the church choir for music.
The 9:50 am service is our Celebration service, this service uses a praise team to lead worship.
Our 11:11 am service held in the worship center, is the most Contemporary of the three, is led by our worship band and the sermon is led by John Witte.
Sunday Evenings we worship both beginning at 6:00 pm in the Worship Center.
