What to Expect in Preschool Class

Your preschooler will receive Christian education and care through trained leaders in a clean and safe surrounding. Our curriculum is Bible-based, activity-centered, and age-appropriate. A preschooler’s most effective method of learning is through play and interaction!

We teach preschoolers about God through activity teaching. Activities are different from play. When children choose and use materials to play with, they do so without the active involvement of an adult, parent, or teacher. Play has no intrinsic goal but is done for the sheer joy of playing.

Activity teaching occurs when a teacher guides play to achieve a purpose. From the earliest ages, play is used for many developmental purposes. Each session is focused around a Bible story and a Bible theme. As your child progresses, he will learn Bible truths through activities that involve books, puzzles, dramatic play, nature, music, and art. Your child will actively explore Bible truths in ways that involve him wholly with meaning he can understand. The curriculum used to guide each session is developed by LifeWay Christian Resources.
