FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
When Is childcare available?
We provide childcare during regularly scheduled church services, as support for other ministries of the church and for special occasions calendared through the church.
How early may I bring my child?
We begin receiving children 15 minutes before the event and keep them until the close of the event. We respectfully request that parents honor our volunteers and pick up their children no later than 15 minutes after the event.
Can my children stay for both services?
On Sunday morning, we will keep your children ages birth through Pre-K for both Sunday morning services to allow you to attend worship and Sunday school. Your Kindergartener will attend Sunday school at the same time you do and then attend worship with you.
Are parents required to work in preschool?
We ask that at least one parent work in preschool. All of our Sunday morning teachers are volunteers. While we look forward to teaching your child, we are generally in need of many more volunteers than we have. There are times when we have to combine rooms because we simply don’t have enough help. The key is the pH Factor – Parents Helping. The pH Factor will spread the workload and will help energize the regular volunteers. It will allow for consistency of classrooms and minimize the need to combine classrooms. Maintaining the proper pH balance means better ministry for your children. All moms, dads, grandparents, and other adults are welcomed to be involved in the pH Factor.
